sballen Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I need to create some extra fields in Easy Populate. What I want is, in my v_products_images, to put ‘my image.jpg’ - Then I want to create another field for my URL, http//www.mywebsite.com/folder/catalog/. (the folder is where my osCommerce is located, if it were located in the root of osCommerce, it would not need to be included. But my osCommerce is located in a folder.) Then create a third field for my path “images/folder/folder/folder/etc. In my v_products_images will be “my image.jpg” In My v_products_image_URL would be http://www.mywebsite.com In my v_products_image_path would be “images/folder/etc” When I upload the .csv or txt file, it would direct the images to http://www.mywebsite.com/folder/catalog/images/folder/etc As it stands now with just the “v_products_images” I have to first take all my images out of the folders my distributor supplies, and upload them to my web site. (This takes about 2 days) going through folder after folder and uploading the images in my osCommerce images folder. Then I have to edit their spread sheet file by deleting the column for “folders/folders/folders/and sometimes more folders”. Then I have go through my “v_products_images” one block at a time and paste http://mywebsite.com/folder/catalog/images/ in front of them. (This takes 2 to 3 days) It would be a lot quicker, to just rename their “path” column to “v_products_path and creating a “v_products_URL column and save hours, or even days of labor. So, does anyone know how to create an addon for this? – I wish I could say I’d hire you to do so, but I am so poor I don’t have two nickels to rub together. But I would appreciate it. Thanks Samuel B. Allen
