Hi

I have a website called - www.the it wares .com sorry for the spaces.

I need your Help with it, below is the whole story please help me with this.

I am a total noob with this you can say i know nothing about the Programing or Coding involved in OsCommerce. But i need to solve this and would love to learn (Without affecting the running of my site) .. :)

Around 10-15 Days back the website got infected with some Trojan Virus and whenever someone used to open it they used to get Reported Attack Page Error - While opening our website.

I spoke to our Hosting Company and they restored our A/c after which i used the Google Webmaster Tools and requested a Crawling of our Website and the next day our Site was back up.

Now after that still some customers used to come in saying they are getting Trojan Warning's when they visit our website, and again a restore was done for the same and i think customers do not get any warning's right.... I am not sure about if the virus is still there not there etc.

Now my Host's and some other people too are saying that there is a Security Hole on the site which needs to be fixed and i need to update the Script which i donno how to do so would need help with this.

Secondly when we look at the Page Source of our Home Page it has this code at the end which is suspicious and should not be there...

<br>

</body>

</html><div style="position:absolute; left:-100%; top:-100%;cursor:default;" id="tracker"><a href="http://justmusicstore.com//">mp3 download</a><a href="http://likegames.net/">download games</a></div>

Can you please Help me with this problem i need to know whats wrong and How to Fix the same in detail.

Thanks a lot in advance and Hoping for a swift Response and solution for my website.

Rahul,

You will need to look for the malicious code and remove it. Also look for anomalous files and delete them.

Rahul,

I suggest you seek more experienced help to remove this hacker from your website. If you have no experience, it is likely you will not be able to remove the malicious code completely.
