Add Bulk Attribute values, is it possible? help!

Hi all,

Basically, for the store i'm creating, we have a few attributes and values we use already, just the usual stuff like size and colour. Its a motorbike website, and now I need to add a huge list of manufacturers and motorcycle models. If i have these in a text file, can i bulk upload them somehow to appear in the attribute list? There's thousands, and I dont want to do each one individually from the backoffice.

If anyone understands what I mean and thinks they can help, it would be greatly appreciated!

You can load products using the add-on EasyPopulate.

 

This creates attributes and manufacturers as part of the load.

I've got that addon, but can't see how you upload a list of attributes through it?

TRy setting up a product with a few attributes and download the file.

 

That should give you and idea.

I've downloaded an attribute file, and I can see how to add bulk attributes to products, but its adding the actual attributes in bulk that i need to do. is there anything that allows this?
