Add more items to front page listing?

Ok so my whole store consists of 23 items, and I used a mod that will list all items on the front page. However, it only lists 20 items on the first page, and on the second page, it lists the last three. Is there a way to increase the limit so that all my products are displayed on the front page instead?

Try changing Admin > Configuration > Maximum Values > Search Results = 30

and / or

Admin > Configuration > Maximum Values > New Products Listing = 30
