Can i have a link for a currency converter in currencies box?

Hello,

i would like to have a link in currencies box that opens

a new window with a currency converter and informs the customer

of the real time exchanges rates e.g. http://www.oanda.com/

 

i noticed that in administrator's page there is a button in currencies named "Update currencies".When i clicked on it

the shop was automatically informed

 

Success The exchange rate for Euro (EUR) was updated successfully via oanda.
Success The exchange rate for US Dollar (USD) was updated successfully via oanda.

 

So, can i have a link in currencies box that informs the customer of the real time exchanges rates and how can i modify my code in order to do that??

To update the currencies, and keep them updated, use the Auto Update Currency contribution (see My Addons). That should make it so the change to your site isn't necessary. Plus, if you did that, oanda won't respond to every request so some of your customers may get an incorrect quote. And if there are too many requests, your site may get blacklisted by oanda.
