Guest Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Mason, Your other topic gave you exact code and an idea of where it should be placed. Unfortunately, we can't hold your hand while you do it. Give it a try and post any errors or concerns after you try it. The code given, WORKS ! I have used it many times, just place it properly in the index.php and it will function for you. Chris
hitman0042 Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 You can give me code but if you do not teach me how to insert it and apply it etc, how will i know what to do ? well it is okay, eventually i did it myself, and i didnt use your code
Guest Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Mason, That's great! You learned something that will be useful in the future. As you can see, this is a volunteer support forum. USUALLY members are provided with the what they need to implement the changes or correct the errors associated with osCommerce. Usually, you are not provided with step by step instructions in the forum, it is assumed that you know enough about website design / creation to make the changes once given the proper information. Chris

Chris I did after many days... You can not assume whether people know enough about website design/creation to make the changes once given the "proper" information. What is "proper"? For someone like me, and many others like me, we need step-by-step tutorial. Giving simple, basic instructions just wont do it. Everyone has had an experiance with a bad manual or user documentation, and you know how fustrating it can be..... Thanks for helping

Thanks for helping The purpose of this forum is not to provide step by step tutorials in basic web design. It should also not be your one and only learning resource about how to build your website Don't forget that this is not the customer service here, but a forum, supported by volunteers, so be happy that it exist at all and that it is that active as it is Some tips to read that will help you to go on HTML CSS PHP SQL My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
