Modules do not show in Admin Module list

New to OSCommerce, I'm helping a friend by installing the gift wrap add on.

I got through all of the database and file manipulation steps, but when the step asked to turn on the module in the Admin tool, problems arose.

---There is a new module set called Giftwrap with two modules (Gift Wrap, No Gift Wrap). I turned those on and put in applicable parameters. No problem there.

---The instructions also call to go into the Order Total Module and Install Giftwrap and then decide on an order. BUT, there are no modules listed in the Order Total Module set!

---There are files in /httpdocs/catalog/includes/modules/order_total (checkout_confirmation.php, ot_giftwrap.php, ot_loworderfee.php, ot_shipping.php, ot_subtotal.php, ot_tax.php, ot_total.php) and those same files appear in /httpdocs/catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/order_total (except the checkout_confirmation.php).

---As I'm new to OSCommerce and my friends site, I don't know that those modules appeared before I started my work.

 

This manifests itself on the site in the following way:

---Customer can pick to have gift wrap or not during the checkout process.

---That decision is shown in the confirmation page.

---But no charge appears for gift wrapping to be part of the order total.

---Everything else in the order total seems to work (product prices, tax, shipping)

 

 

Anyone seen this before? Anyone that can get me started on diagnosis?
