sergiu Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Hello everyone, I'm currently running osCommerce 2.2-MS2 on PHP 4.4.7 & MySQL 4.1.22. I want to upgrade to the last version (2.2rc2a) because the hosting company will upgrade to PHP 5 & MySQL 5. How should I proceed? Should I install a fresh copy of the last version and import the database?

However, in the past I have found it less time consuming and more reliable to just install the latest version and then import the database tables I want to keep in the new store Chris
♥kymation Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 There is an Addon for that upgrade. I would use that if I had already made a lot of modifications to the original 2.2 MS2. sergiu Posted September 20, 2010 Author Posted September 20, 2010 Thank you for the answers. I did some changes to the store (added some new fields to the checkout process). About importing, do I need this module? Importing from PHPMyAdmin would do the job?
