Hi everyone!

Had a good look through these forums, found similar problems but none that a the same as mine. I am hoping someone can help as this has been driving me crazy for hours!

I have downloaded a template that I would like to use for my osCommerce 2.2 RCa2 shop, but the files and folders appear to be different than the original oscommerce files that i copied accross - therefore i have no idea where to put them.

There are NO instructions included in the download and the file structure is as follows:

15873>

Screenshots>

Sources> Sources>

clipart_library>

buttons>files

logos>files

windows>files

fonts>

html>style.css

images>files

psd>files

Not sure if that is any help to you, but i'm just trying to provide as much info as possible. Please ask if you require any further information.

Any help is much appreciated, and i thank you in advance!

That template does not appear to be V2.2 RC2a. However it should still contain a catalog folder with all of the osCommerce files in it.

Thanks for the quick reply Chris.

It did actually say that it was for V2.2 RC2a, but from what you have said, it probably isnt! (there is no catalog folder) Can you reccomend anywhere I can get a decent template for free? It is for a computer shop.

Thanks again.

Carl,

"You get what you pay for" is a relevant phrase when it comes to templates. Even then, a high price template still doesn't mean it is coded properly.

IF YOU HAVE TO USE A TEMPLATE, then ensure it is v2.2 RC2a and then update the security settings and PHP compatibility or find a v2.3 Template.
