Paul Gelsman [email protected] Paul, You don't need SSL unless you want your potential customers to feel that their information is safe. I don't trust any store that won't spend the few dollars on SSL. I recently implemented Geotrust SSL on my new site that only accepts PayPal. I was amazed at how easy and cheap this was. Ryan. Guest Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Paul, Without an SSL, data being transmitted to and from your website could be intercepted by hackers. It should be a priority to take reasonable steps to ensure your customers information is protected and the cost of an SSL is minor compared to the loss of potential customers who only purchase from sites protected by an SSL. Chris Thank you for the replies. I do have SSL on my site. I was just wondering about it. Quote
