FIMBLE Posted September 12, 2010 Share Posted September 12, 2010 there is also this which is pretty comperhensive http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/162231-quick-install-guide/ But in essence create a database and create a user and password and join the two (take a minute in your web host control panel) upload the catalog folder to your web space via FTP once uploaded go to catalog / includes / configure.php and make sure the file is writable do the same for catalog / admin / includes / configure.php then call the instller in your browser like http://yourstore.com/catalog an installer will appear whereby you enter your details, follow it till the end (4 steps) One done your store is installed, you ten need to change the permissions of the two configure.php files and delete the install folder Nic Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
