Confusion on OSCOMMERCE and Photoshop

Let me apologize in advance for the ignorant question, but I am a bit confused. I have designed several websites, I'm far from a rookie. In the past if I needed to customize OSCOMMERCE I would replace the default images with custom images and change colors as needed.

But how in the world do I take a website I built in Photoshop (it's been sliced, html code, etc) and make it work with OSCOMMERCE? I have a new website I made and I want consistency between the site itself and the ecommerce portion.

Is it a matter of inserting my html code into a few of the PHP files? It seems like I am stuck to the standard OSCOMMERCE layout, but I know I'm not. Just not sure how to integrate my Photoshop template into OSCOMMERCE.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

learn the php and oscommerce, the best place to start it's buy the oscommerce and php book.

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

I don't make use of STS but I believe that add-on will help you with this.
