Gil_e_n Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 At one point, I'm sure I knew this. But I built my web site several years ago, and can't remember what's going on anymore, and staring at the index page code isn't helping me. When my webhost upgraded their installation of PHP and MySQL, my categories stopped working. They went from taking you to the category listing (as they should) to leaving you at the homepage. Does anyone have any experience with this? If not, can you tell me what general technology the index page uses to redirect you to the category listings, so I can at least narrow it down? My assumption right now is that it's in a module like mod_alias on Apache, but I'm not sure. Alternatively, is this a known problem that I can just upgrade my installation to the latest oscommerce to solve? I'm afraid I'm shamefully behind on that, and tempted to do it right now anyway, but I don't want to when I won't be able to see any bugs introduced on a vast portion of the website.
