cichlidexpress Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Hey Guys, I am preety new to using oscommerce and I have been trying to load photos to display the products I wish to sell. When I attempt to load the photos it will go very slowly and then when it finally goes to the page it will say up in the top corner, warning files not uploaded. If you have any advice or any tips can you please help. Thank You.
web-project Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 have set the permission correctly on the "images" folder? as it should be set to 775. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
Guest Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Billy, The size of your images could also be factor in the slow transfer. Images should be 640x480 normally and JPG format to reduce the size. Chris
