EverAfterRJJ Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Hi, I am trying to sort out the table rate shipping for my website. I basically want all orders under £10 to be free shipping and all orders above £10 to be £4.95 shipping. I have entered the following information in the table rate box: Enable table method: true Shipping table: 10.00:0.00,998:4.95 Table method: price Handling fee: 0 Tax class: none shipping zone: uk sort order: 1 Also, in configuration -> shipping/packaging i have entered the maximum weight to be 999, the tare weight to be 0 and the larger packages increase to be 0. During the checkout process on my website basically there is no option for shipping at all, it just doesn't show up, therefore my customers don't have any options and don't pay any shipping. One thing to mention, if i enable the flat rate shipping option, that does show up in the checkout process, so that works, but i'm after table rate shipping, not flat rate. Do I need to make any other changes to the html in the root directory? There is something fundamental that i'm missing, please help! Thank you in advance
mayo23 Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Try downloading one of the free shipping contributions and setting the flat rate to £4.95. This is the system I tend to use. Free Shipping with Minimum Amount My latest osCommerce work in progress no outside links in signatures allowed, see PM
EverAfterRJJ Posted September 18, 2010 Author Posted September 18, 2010 Thanks very much for your response. I have downloaded that add on and uploaded the relevant file to the two locations specified. Do I need to do something else to make it show up in my admin section because it doesn't appear there yet as a shipping option?
EverAfterRJJ Posted September 18, 2010 Author Posted September 18, 2010 I have now fixed my problem, it was something really silly. I didn't manage to get the add on working but i did fix my original problem. In the table rate section in admin in the 'shipping zone' box i changed it to none instead of UK. It now works fine!
