shanno06 Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Hi, I know this is very noobish, but I've looked everywhere. You know the boxes on the sidebar such as Categories, What's New, Currency, etc. How do I edit the layout of these boxes. Say if I wanted currencies to be a list instead of a drop down menu. Where would I go to edit the file for that box? Thanks and sorry for being a noob. I'm loving oscommerce. Only installed it yesterday for the first time ever! Thanks again. Bye!
Guest Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Paul, You will find all of the boxes in the includes/boxes directory Chris
shanno06 Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 Can't beleive i missed that. Really need to catch up on some sleep. Thanks.
shanno06 Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 Okay, so how would I make the categories box, my first level horizontal menu, instead of a vertical menu? Tried changing the <tr><td> ....</td></tr> to <li>....</li> (for my menu) but in the output source code on the site, it's still coming up as <tr><td>....</td></tr>? Any ideas?
Guest Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Paul, That is a completely different modification. Click here: Horizontal Menu Contributions Chris
shanno06 Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Ok, thanks. One more question. Is it possible to make the words "Categories", "Currencies", "What's New?", H1 Tags? Is it sufficient to input the <h1></h1> in the english.php file?
