I followed all of the quick install guides and I am still getting this message:

Warning: require(includes/application_top.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/c/a/d/cadscloset/html/catalog/index.php on line 13

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/application_top.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/content/c/a/d/cadscloset/html/catalog/index.php on line 13

I downloaded a template from template monster and I am trying to apply it to my website and nothing works. I renamed the unzipped folder to " catalog" and I uploaded everything to the parent directory under the catalog folder and still I'm getting no where. Can anyone help with this problem?

I am in the exact same situation as you except i uploaded all the files within the catalog folder to my public_html folder. The oscommerce installation works great i just cant do anything with the index.php at all. Really frustrating

is the file there?

Have you checked your configure.php files?

And really your first port of call would be to call the suppliers about the error, if they direct you here then you are mostly out of luck as they alter the code too much and its no longer an osC code cart.

If this fails then your options are limited other than hiring some one to sort it.

Nice looking, crap coding im afraid
