GeoffAtkins Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 OK, I have been working on a shop for a client with some colleagues. The client has asked for quite a few modifications to the shop, most have been fairly minor. One of the first modifications they requested was to have "+VAT" or "Ex VAT" next to the price for all of the products in the catalogue, EVERYTIME a price was displayed. We managed this without a problem, but now... they have realised that some of their products are non-VATable. So they want to have the price amended with +VAT, but ONLY when the product is VATable. The VAT contrib isn't really what we are looking for (I have been doing my homework on this one), this customer will only be selling to the UK. Which at least makes things easier. Now, the best way to address this something that has us scratching our heads. We're all fairly experienced with PHP, but only have limited experience with OSCom (v2.2 RC2a btw), and we could use a little advice on getting this done without missing (another) deadline. We figured the best way was to create a custom function and just append it to the price, has anyone got any experience of this, if so please share your hard won experience with us rookies.
burt Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Play with display_price function in /includes/classes/currencies.php
