Hi Guys,

How do you get "Pay Pal" to work?

I've clicked "Install" at the Pay Pal standard line in "Payment Modules", but nothing happens.

Is there something else you have to do?

Also, (if you want to sell digital products) do we need to install a "digital delivery" script, or is that built in to osCommerce.

Thanks for your time,

Ed

Ed,

Click install, then makes sure it states true next to the 'Do you want to use PayPal' line. Add your paypal email address and you should be ready to go.

osCommerce is virtual product ready. However, I would suggest you install this:

http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/4868

as it has a better download controller and security features than the default controller does.

Hi Chris,

Thanks so much for answering so quickly.

I've looked everywhere.

Where is the, 'Do you want to use PayPal' line. that you mentioned? All I get is: "PayPal Website Payments Standard 0" , (under modules after clicking the +INSTALL button)

And where do I "Add my paypal email address" ?

Thanks again,

Ed

Ed,

If you click on the Paypal Website Payments Standard in the upper right corner you will have the option to remove or edit it. Click edit and add your e-mail address where it says e-mail address. *Note this has to be your paypal e-mail address. Hope this helps.

Hi Heather,

There's nothing in the upper right corner that says "Paypal Website Payments Standard".

But after you mentioned it, I started clicking on everything, and when I clicked on the > arrow at the end of the "PayPal Website Payments Standard" line, I got a drop down to fill in.

Thanks so much for your help.

Now I've got to figure how to do a "digital delivery".

Thanks again.

Ed

PS: I thought this was going to be easier!
