Guest
Does anyone here use Cybersource? I am curious if their software can interface with osCommerce... I have a ton of questions and I am looking for someone that may already have been through this... so I don't have to re-invent the wheel... Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Guest
So when my post gets lost in the fray without any response, I should repost the original post, causing undue clutter??
rseigel
No...you should read the forum rules. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/faq.php Sometimes questions just don't get answered. You can't force it to happen and it's just plain rude to keep asking and bumping.
Guest
You know what IS rude... Snapping at someone when you don't fully understand the circustances of the situation. When I originally posted, it was a very heavy traffic period and within a couple of short hours my post had slipped to somthing like the fourth page of the forum. Seeing as how this was not ample time to get a real response to my quetion I bumped the post so it could be viewed in the hopes that I would get an intelligent response. I would certainly understand if I had asked somthing silly like "how do I change the logo in the header?" I follow MANY forums and while not acceptable on EVERY forum it is a common practice when a post gets lost. I must say that I absolutely love osC but I am a little put off by some of the generally bad attitudes that some people can't help but come off with. If there was a serious draw back to osC it would be the forums as the sole support system. While I am the first to admit that I have found these forums many times much more that sufficent, I would certainly be much more willing to pay for some type of structured support system that doesn't rely on an anyone welcome free for all. I am not saying these forums should be done away with - on the contrary I would simply be willing to pay for an alternate form of support, where serious questions can be taken seriously, and in a timely manner. - only MHO  My company is seriously looking a Cybersource as an authentication provider and I require information that I felt I could only RELIABLY receive from those in the know about osC. mposse
Hi fellows Have you found the answer for this question? I am looking at Cybersource as authentication method as well and I need them to work with osC. Did you find any collaboration? How did you solve the issue? Thanks Martin

Arpit
1) compiled my own version of executable file (win32), made it accept command line arguments for first name, last name, etc. 2) modify the cybersource.php to call the .exe via cmd command and pass the command line arguments (has been few weeks now, but i cannot get the pipes to work and hence command line) 3) modify the validation in cybersource.php, as you will had to read the command line agruments. 4) and there ya go, cybersource and oscommerce living in harmony The late twentieth century has witnessed a remarkable growth in scientific interest in the subject of extinction ---------------------------------------------------- Arpit
pjyniguez
I know this thread was started and died years ago, but I wonder if anyone knows of an updated discussion regarding cybersource. I know it is possible to use Cybersource w/ OSC, but I'm not sure how to go about setting it up. Does anyone know of another thread where this is explained? I'd like to find the answer if it's out there, before starting a new thread.
