Showing Out of Stock Items (No Quantities!)

Hello fellow osCommerce users,

 

i´ve the following Problem:

I´ve a shop that sells manufactured stuff, so im working without the stock system.

Still, from time to time i throw out some products off the catalog, but want to remain them online on the catalog, becouse some of them have a good place on google search. SO what i do now is, i change the product headline with the extra (SOLD OUT!) by hand, and put in price 00,00$.

But as you can imagine, some guys miss the line, or think its for free etc. and add this item to the cart.

 

So i tried: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/3076

But, it is working with the quantities stock system too ...

 

Did you guys got any idea? I´ve searched through the board and googled, but everyone is using the stock system ...
