Newsletter Manager

I've been messing around with the Newsletter Manager and I'd like to get it into production but I'm having trouble fiquring out how to send a test email. I can set up the Newsletter okay....preview it etc. but there doesn't seem to be a way to actually send out a test before mailing the Newsletter to my list. I would think that sending out a test would be a pretty standard requirement but I can't see how to do that. Maybe I'm having a senior moment. :'( Anyone know if it's possible to send out a test and if so, how?

Any direction that you can provide would be appreciated....dan

The Newsletter Manager is very basic. There is no way to send a test email, other than to send one copy to yourself, provided you are signed up as a customer on your own shop. Worse yet, the Newsletter Manager sends the emails all at once. Which can spike your server ( or rather your server will blink off your email request) if you are on a shared host website and have more than a few hundred customers.

This easy to install contribution will give you the ability to send test emails, and will also allow you to control the rate the Newsletter Manager sends the emails.
