bnguru
I'm not a hard core techie, but my current site has been hacked twice now. All my permissions are correct yet it keeps happening. My address is http://www.trainliquidators.com If you load it from Explorer you get error codes on top and most seems to work normal. If you load from Firefox it looks horrible! So - should I change to ver 3.0 and will this benefit me at all? Or is there something I can do to improve my current site? Thanks for the input in advance. Simply setting the permissions correctly isn't enough. You should read this post, it is extremely helpful. As for 3.0 from what I understand it is still in testing phase so without extensive knowledge of php and oscommerce you'll have a tough time getting things setup. Guest
Steve, As Don as suggested, V3.x is NOT READY for use. The Alpha version is undergoing many changes on the GITHUB site. The link Don posted, will not work with V3.x either. There is LITTLE to NO support of contributions for v3.x because it is not ready. I suggest using V2.2 RC2a.
