pubman
Hi All, From not knowing about os commerce 2 a few days ago - I am trying to master this software inside out. I have installed os commerce on localhost using Xampp as the webserver. I get the error message: Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in C:\Xampp\xampp\htdocs\xampp\osc\ catalog\includes\classes\language\.php on line 87 How do I remove this error message? Many thanks, Pubman

pubman
Hi Chris, I wanted to reply to your message but somehow I don't know how this reply to message works for this forum hence: 'you replying to your own message'. I must say you were quick on the draw. I have downloaded the file but what do I do with it? Do I expand the file in the xampp\osc\catalog directory. Please advice? Guest
Read the installation instructions on how manually edit the files or use the drop on top method if your installation is vanilla. Chris
pubman
Hi Chris, I don't understand your reply. I have downloaded the patch: os commerce rc2a_php_5.3.v2.1.1. What do I do with this patch? Do I expand the files in a certain directory? Chris, I have managed to locate the instructions in the patch. It's way past midnight in London.
