Removing Error Message "Deprecated.

Hi All,

 

From not knowing about os commerce 2 a few days ago - I am trying

to master this software inside out.

 

I have installed os commerce on localhost using Xampp as the webserver.

 

I get the error message:

 

Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in C:\Xampp\xampp\htdocs\xampp\osc\

catalog\includes\classes\language\.php on line 87

 

How do I remove this error message?

I must say you were quick on the draw. I have downloaded

the file but what do I do with it?

 

Do I expand the file in the xampp\osc\catalog directory.

 

Please advice?

Read the installation instructions on how manually edit the files or use the drop on top method if your installation is vanilla.

I don't understand your reply.

I have downloaded the patch: os commerce rc2a_php_5.3.v2.1.1.

 

What do I do with this patch? Do I expand the files in a certain directory?

 

Chris, I have managed to locate the instructions in the patch. It's way

past midnight in London.
