Hi guys.

I desperately need some advice from someone cleverer then me. I want to set up a shop that uses e fulfillment. The company who I want to work with has sent me their requirements they are

1 The products are downloaded from a data feed in either csv, mdb, dbf format that updates every 15 minutes.

2 After an order has been payed for I send an xml file back to them in a specific format giving them the order data.

How possible is this to do with oscommerese? and how would I go about doing it?

I know it might be a bit of a complicated question to answer but any advice anyone could give me would be great as I am struggling a bit!

Thank you

Dave

Hi guys .

Hi Dave, If you've still found out how to run the extract then I've just setup a fulfilment operation myself and wouldn't have such requirements. We would prefer to be assigned an osc admin login and to print the orders via the admin panel, update them to 'shipped' once sent and input new inventory levels when your stock arrives. Let me know if you're interested. Kind regards, James

You can use EP to import csv data and send the xml as part of the purchase process.

Automating EP to run as a cron job is not on the forum that I have seen xml ordering, but there again I have not been looking in that area.
