Mort-lemur
Hi, I have two currincies set up on my store - GBP and Euro I have discovered a problem when a customer selects euro in that the euro amount is passed through to my payment processor and then converted to Euro again. This happens because my EPDQ system is not set up for different curriencies, only GBP so it sees the value passed through as euro, thinks it is GBP and converts it again, thus overcharging my customer. I dont want to go the multi-currency route with EPDQ as there will be a charge and a very limited number of my sales are in Euros. So.... My question is: Is there a way I can keep the two currencies on my site for indicative purposes, but for the invoice and value passed through to payment processors to be in the default currency (GBP) only ? if not then I will need to dump the dual currencies of my site. FIMBLE
You could build in (or use existing) code to make GBP the main currency then have a line under with the approx Euro price, this way GBP remains the default through-out. Would need to also build in the specials price too if you have any This is only one idea, there might possibly be better ones from other members Nic Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
Mort-lemur
Thanks Nic, Ill have a look at that, but does sound beyond my capabilities, but as always I will try first before I give up and revert my site to single currency.
