egweimai Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Hello I am using discount coupons on my store, however, when the discount coupon is applied, it uses the pre-tax price of the product/shipping in its calculation. So £2.95 shipping, with 100% discount only applied the pre-tax price of £2.51 discount. What is going on? How do i correct it?
web-project Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 you need to change the sort order in Order Total Modules. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
egweimai Posted August 23, 2010 Author Posted August 23, 2010 Its not making a difference. I had the tax after the discount. Moved it to before, and still the same.... What is going on?
egweimai Posted August 23, 2010 Author Posted August 23, 2010 in fact i think I know the problem.... I am using table rate shipping, and the prices in there are pre-tax, but because they are asigned to a tax class, the tax is added after. So, the module is taking the literal price that is in the tables without adding tax to it, but OSC is adding tax because of the tax class? How can I resolve this?
egweimai Posted August 24, 2010 Author Posted August 24, 2010 I have taken a look at this a bit (with my basic/medium knowledge of code) but I cant seem to work out if its an error from the installation of the module or OSC as a whole.... Can someone please help me get to the bottom of this...? I have a lot of customers eager to get their free shipping! lol!
