Specials Full Site Discount Contribution

Hello,

 

Was wondering if there is a contribution for specials in admin to allow for a site wide discount? Right now it seems that specials is done by a one by one case. I would like to mark down entire site say at a 20% discount.

I seem to recall that the salemaker contribution is bad for performance, make sure to check this before installing.

 

I have created myself an admin page to make it easier to do % discounts on whole categories and/or manufacturers, it is not exactly what you ask for, but it does need any database nor catalog changes, just an easy drop in the admin panel. Might just be good enough for you.

contribution is called 'Admin specials by category' there is also an SPPC variant
