Guest Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Jennifer, Welcome to the world of OSC configuration. ;) OSC does not come with a production ready Credit Card payment module and does not recommend accepting credit cards directly on the website because of PCI DSS requirements. However, if you are willing to go through the PCI DSS process there is a complete credit card module here: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6307 Accepting credit cards on your website will also require you to have a virtual terminal account with a merchant provider, so check with your merchant provider for one. PayPal can be enabled to accept credit cards, e-checks, paypal direct payments and other. All you need to do is enable the module you would like to use and configure it according to you paypal account you signed up for with paypal. Once you have it configured, it will appear as a payment option during checkout. Chris
Guest Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 What i had to do for Paypal to work was to add the paypal plugin Paypal Plugin You will need an API from Paypal visit the Merchant Center on Paypal. Download includes complete instructions for install. Very easy to do. Hope this helps Bobby

I thought the stock module emailed part of the number while storing the rest in the DB. The stock module has no CVV input either, but what makes this one OK to use? Tim
