Druide
I am looking for a contribution that will set the actual time for the user/customer to the real time (not the time of the server HOST :) ) This because all variables like 'products.products_date_added' etc. and 'orders_status_history.date_added' are set to my servers 'HOST' time. is there a contribution available for this ? My ADMIN section like in the user tracking contribution etc.. is showing not the same time like mine (i am 3 hours ahead of my HOST) - i need a contribution that i can set all time variables to my actual time - also it would be nice when a logged in customer can set his timezone :) any help is much appreciated Robert My real live project www.ruddlesmills.com THIS IS A REAL COMPANY's WEBSITE !!! so do not place orders to test it out !!! Guest
http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=32920 has a discussion on how to manage the server time. If you want to get funky, when the customer logs in you could have it query a table that you create to get the appropriate timezone based on country/state/city values.
