ive been creating my website in rv and i have put in an external link to my oscommerce store im creating but i need to make the transition smooth so I need the shop from to look like my website. Will this mean I need to create my own template and put it as shop front and on rv? because the one I have at the moment is a template on the rv site builder.

can be done only via php code and SSI

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

Holly,

You can use several methods to integrate the look and feel of your website into OSC. Some of the more popular ones are STS and BTS. I think one of them would give you the best results.
