I've tested the site on numerous computers (pc and mac) and on different browser but I cant seem to duplicate the issue the client however has had it happen a few times (3 different computers), the orders get copied to me so I see what's going on any info on this would be much appreciated Thanks P.S. server info server Host: thbnhost.com (127.0.0.1) Database Host: localhost (127.0.0.1) Server OS: Linux 2.6.9-023stab051.2-enterprise Database: MySQL 5.0.45 Server Date: 08/17/2010 15:18:42 Datebase Date: 08/17/2010 15:18:42 Server Up Time: 15:18:42 up 15 days, 1:06, 0 users, load average: 0.22, 0.22, 0.13 HTTP Server: Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) PHP Version: 5.2.6 (Zend: 2.2.0)
Guest Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Marc, This could happen if the customer hits the refresh or back button to return to the product information page and then selects a different attribute. I have seen it before with other sites. Chris
storrs315 Posted August 20, 2010 Author Posted August 20, 2010 Chris, Thanks for the insight, I never thought of users hitting refresh or the back button I'll do some testing to see if I can replicate it thanks again Marc Marc, This could happen if the customer hits the refresh or back button to return to the product information page and then selects a different attribute. storrs315 Posted August 20, 2010 Author Posted August 20, 2010 Figured out where this error is happening if a user adds items to the cart and proceeds to checkout without logging in first it causes the order to get all mixed up on the confirmation page and email if the user first logs in then places the items in the cart then proceeds to check out it's fine is this a common error ?
