Hi,

I would like to include a checkbox in my shippin dialogue that adds a single cost of 2€ on the regular shipping price.

I can't just raise the shipping prices altogether as this would be an additional service not everybody wants. How would I do that?

Philip,

You didn't mention what type of shipping you offer (UPS, FEDEX, USPS) but there are several contributions that allow for user defined shipping options like regular, express, overnight....etc.

Check the add on area.

I am using DPD. That module does not allow for an additional charge with a checkbox.

I hoped there might be an additional shipping module with just customizable checkboxes and values...

There are bunches of addons that do this for you.. Some call it gift wrapping, handling fees, or additional fees at checkout.. look through the addons with those keywords, you will find them. I have personally used the gift wrap one/

As Lindsay said, there are a ton of contributions that are close to what you need. All that would be needed is some textual changes (eg; "giftwrap" to "one time shipping fee).

Also, it is easily possible to amend different shipping methods individually, I blogged about that a while back, findable in Google "expedite fee oscommerce" or something along those lines. This way you could have some shipping methods with an extra fee, some without. Rather than an overall extra fee (if that makes sense)..
