forummaker Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 No hair left to pull out... any help would be great, thanks. Is this normal for "PayPal Standard"? When a customer proceeds through the checkout process on my site.. ie. billing address and shipping address.. then proceeds to pay via paypal. If a customer uses a diff. address for billing and shipping, when they are taken to pay at paypal, it pulls the shipping address and not the billing address. The customer then has to change the address to their billing address on the PayPal site. Why wouldn't "PayPal Standard" use the billing address provided by the customer, instead of the shipping address they provide? Hope this makes sense. Thanks for any help or insight with this. That "Can" you're about to open... has worms! Don't say I didn't worn ya. n. pl. cans of worms Informal - A source of unforeseen and troublesome complexity.

MrPhil Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 You might try > Add-Ons > Payment Modules > PayPal if you don't get an answer within a day or two. You might want to clarify what the exact problem is -- osC is providing the shipping address instead of billing address, for use as ____? Is PayPal responsible for figuring tax from the shipping address, or is it actually confirming the billing address for the credit card company? That is, what is this address being used for?
