Austinite Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Hey everyone, I've been using this awesome forum for a good while now and I can't say enough for all the help that it has brought to my website and myself. I can usually find what I'm looking for by searching, but for some reason this problem is really stumping me. So here's what my problem is... I have a pretty heavily modified store by now and I just installed a banner rotation contribution. Now the banners don't really rotate unless you refresh or click on something, but that's not my problem. My problem is just the space between the navigation buttons and the banner. I just want to either move the banner up or the buttons down. Here is a link to my website: Ray's Garage If there's anything that I can post to help resolve, please let me know. Thanks so much in advance! JR
lindsayanng Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 First remove the height from here: #yumyum-menu { font-family:Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:18px; height:70px; text-align:center; width:100%; } Then you have THREE <br> between the menu code and the banner code.. Either in your header.php file or index.php i'm guessing.. First look for that menu code and see if its there.. lindsayanng Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 You're welcome On a design / usability standpoint, PLEASE remove all of those moving pictures of shirts.. They do NOTHING for the customer and really really really seemed to slow the page down. A great place for newbies to start Road Map to oscommerce File Structure DO NOT PM ME FOR HELP. Austinite Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 Thanks for the advice! And that's funny you said that because my girlfriend actually just told me the same exact thing when I showed her that I fixed the banner/buttons, so I went ahead and fixed that too...
