rickvodicka Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Hello, I am new to osCommerce and need a little help with a specific attribute that my store must have. There will be a "Build a box" feature wherein the customer can choose 5 items to place into the box - it can be any variation of items, but the box must be filled with 5 of these individual items. Unfortunately, it doesn't end there; there are also "Party packs" that feature a preset amount of items within the box, so these are ordered individually and not included in the "Build a box of 5" feature. I have downloaded the "Forced Total Order Quantity" contribution but haven't tried adding the code to the necessary PHP files, since this contribution doesn't take into consideration the need for certain items in the store being excluded from the forced total of 5. Within this OSC forum, I read the posts from a fellow who has the same situation as myself, with boxes of 12 items and premixed boxes that are sold individually, but I am unfamiliar with how he placed the individual premixed boxes into specific "categories" that are ignored by the forced total that is divisible by 12. Unfortunately, I can't use the code that a helpful forum member supplied, since I don't know what exactly must be edited. How would I place my "Party packs" into a category that can be sold individual, and also have all of my individual items be sold in multiples of 5 for the "Build a box" feature? Can anyone help with my specific situation? Any assistance would be much appreciated! Thanks! Rick
