Wiets
I search but could not find an answer. Situation Some of our customers cannot complete the registration process as they never received their Account Activation emails. It is not clear why some of them do not receive these emails - it might be due to spam filters or network administrators blocking certain emails. However, the consequence of all this; 1. The account registration process cannot be completed and they cannot login, 2. These customers do not show up in the admin section - we therefor cannot edit or delete them, 3. They cannot register again with the same email account as the email account is already recorded. 4. In addition, my admin panel does not allow me to create any accounts on behalf of such customers. The consequence is that these customers are completely locked out and can never register again with the same email account. Questions What is the solution to this, How and where can I delete all traces of these customers to once again allow the registration process. Thanks for your help! The only solution is to tell clients beforehand to put your email address in their internet provider address book (so recognized as an acceptable address) and your website in their trusted websites in the navigator. Unfortunately many providers have their spam control so high that many companies or their web hosters appear on blacklists. Only solution I found and it works. knifeman
3. They cannot register again with the same email account as the email account is already recorded. I am not familiar with this add on, but it seems like the e-mail address must be in the database. Using phpmyadmin, you should be able to delete the address from the database, allowing them to try signing up again. I suppose this extra work is worth it to have the account activation?
