taylorjes Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I'm relatively new to the OSC forums, but my research has left me stuck. I may have simply not search correctly, or with the correct terms. I am building a web-store to compliment a physical retail location. We are a retail/construction company and would like to offer a few construction product within our web-store. I would like to create a secondary product_info layout for product that cannot be offered for online sale, ie would need a bid. I would like these product to exist under the catalog hierarchy and "play nice" with the OSC layout. I have OSC 2.2rc2 w/ STS 4.6 and a custom sts_template. I am considering building a module to allow admins to choose which product_info option they need (for purchase/billboard), but I thought I would check to see if this is practical or previously done. Examples: Pools -->Inground ---->Complete (billboard for bid) ---->Pumps (product) ---->Filters (product) -->Aboveground ---->Kits (product) ---->Custom (billboard for bid) etc. Any direction/suggestions would be helpful. We currently have a "billboard" site, but some complications have led to isolating the sites from each other, therefore this is our new direction. Thanks -jt
taylorjes Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 Apparently, this is better done with STS than I previously understood... I retract my stupidity -jt
