Your new server is probably using php 5 and MYSQL 5+ wheras your shop may have been housed on an older version so naturally the switch threw it off. Are you using OSC 2.2RC2a (latest version) and is your server configured for php5, MYSQL 5.0 or higher? Barbara

Barbara I use the latest version and my new server is PHP version 5.2.13 and MySQL version 5.1.47 and the old server is PHP version 5.2.11 MySQL client version: 5.0.67 so I think there shouldn't be a problem ?
Guest Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Asaf, I believe Barbara was asking about the osCommerce version. You should be using V2.2 RC2a with at least PHP 5.1 and MYSQL 5 Chris
Genom Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 and I told her I use 2.2rc * I checked again I use osc2.2ms2 is it fine?
Guest Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Asaf, I did a forum search and received over 100 threads with questions and solutions to this problem. Most recommend upgrading to RC2a as MS2.2 had this problem with servers running PHP 5. and above. I would suggest looking at upgrading your current store. Chris
