FixItPete Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Hi, I am trying to get a better grasp of how Shipping Zones work. What I need to do is offer free shipping to the lower 48 states, and use UPS and USPS for Alaska, Hawaii, and International. Right now, I am able to get it to work where it will do free shipping to the US only, but not remove the Alaska and Hawaii. Currently I have it set up as follows: UPS Module, standard setup - No problems. USPS Module, standard setup - No problems. Zone Module, standard setup - Enable Zone: TRUE . Tax Class: Taxable Goods . Sort Order: 0 . Zone 1 Countries: US . Zone 1 Shipping Table: 100:0.00 . Zone 1 Handling Fee: 0 Can somebody explain the right way to do it? Thanks, Cindy I find the fun in everything.
FixItPete Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 Ah! Make tax zones, call it "Lower 48 United States" - add all 48 states (and anything else you want in there), and apply it to the shipping module that works for you. Doh. "Tax Zones" to get what you need in "Shipping Zones" -- not sure how that makes sense, but I am NOT complaining! :) I find the fun in everything.
