Guest Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Hello Wise Ones, I just got cleaned up from a hack job. It was pretty serious. Google took my site down. But all is back up and running, I have run scans on my computer and I am now looking for some protection for the future. I would appreciate your insight. P.S. Sorry that I have no profile, this site is not allowing me to create one at the moment. Robin
Guest Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 change all your passwords (I assume you already did this) change the name of admin folder restrict access to admin folder to your admins ip only delete admin/file_manager.php (you dont need it) delete admin/define_language.php (you dont need it) you can install fwr security contribution or sanitize all your forms set the right file permissions to both configure.php files be sure you have a clean database backup do all of the above fast 'cause they'll get back to you you should report your attackers to google and anywhere you consider
