I'm having an issue with PayPal IPN v2.3.4.6

I'm testing live using a second Paypal account in which I "confirm order" and are transferred to the paypal site to login and complete order. Doing this adds the order to my admin/customer/orders DB with a "Preparing [PayPal IPN]" status. Once I complete the order I am expecting the order to change in the Admin of Oscommerce from "Preparing [PayPal IPN]" to "Pending [PayPal IPN]" or perhaps a "Processing [PayPal IPN]" status.... neither happens when I pay or even after I pay and return back to the website...

PS I tried searching this issue but could never find a definitive answer. sorry for the re-post.

I have the same problem. I have update my PayPal IPN module and now i'm using osCommerce PayPal IPN 2_3_4_7 contribution : http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679

Once a customer complete the order I am expecting the order to change in the Admin of Oscommerce from "Preparing [PayPal IPN]" to "PayPal IPN Verified [Completed (Verified; xxx Euro)] " status.... instead the status was Preparing [PayPal IPN] and not update ...

Please help! Thanks.

Perhaps i have found the problem! The problem is the path of ipn.php file!

In osCommerce PayPal IPN 2_3_4_7 contribution you have to upload the ipn.php file into :

catalog\ext\modules\payment\paypal_ipn\ipn.php

instead i made a mistake and copy my file into this folder :

catalog\ext\modules\payment\paypal\ipn.php

Now i have fix this path and i'm waiting for next payment via PayPal to check if it update corretly the order status.

See you soon!
