I need to restore a backup of the database of my site.

i have severall backups that i have made over the days, the size of them are aprox 2mb (2,160.052 bytes) everytime i try to restore one of the newer databases i have 6 days of backups i have a error that reads :

Error 500 - Internal server error

An internal server error has occured!

Please try again later.

if i try to restore a backup from early days that is smaller i can do it.

can someone give guidance on what to do?

I have local copys at my machine and at the server.

2 MB is not that much. You could try an external program like Bigdump. Of course it would be informative to know when this error occurs. Before the restore, while restoring, after the restore. Did it restore or did nothing happen. Etcetera, etcetera.

the error happens during the restore, aprox 20% of the process, and the restore fails

i noticed that fir sine weird reason a (space) has been added in the path of the location of the database, so basically the server is looking for a location that does not exist.

can someone help me?

I can't follow you. The backup/restore module uses the MySQL connection of the site so if there is something wrong with it you wouldn't be able to access the site at all I would think.
