So now when I go to "http://servername/OnlineShop" it shows me default setup of osCommerce Online Merchant. After it I downloaded osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 Documentation. In the 5-th page of this documentation there is a section of "New Installation". It says me "Upload the catalog folder which includes the admin folder to your document root (public_html, www, htdocs) using FTP." As I do not have catalog folder in my fileserver I made it.Now when I start new installation directly in the first page it asks me to write Database Server, Username, Password and Database Name. Here I do not know what to do. I already created database and username and gave to this user full control over this database.Now when I write this information system do not receive it. prashanthbs Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 The catalog folder is available in oscommerce-2.2rca folder which you had downloaded from oscommerce website. Enter the database server name (like db1.myserver.com or an IP address), username , password and database name which you had created earlier. I hope this will be helpful.
