soapwholesaler Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 The follwoing message is appearing at the top of my website. Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /content/HostingPlus/a/n/mydomain.com/web/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. I have change the permission top 644 but it still appears, when I try 444 and 400 it changes them to 644 and 600 respectively. What value do I need to enter?

Guest Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 John, Leaving the permissions at 644 will continue to throw you the error message. If you can not change the permissions to 444 using an FTP, then log into your cpanel and use the file manager to set the permissions properly. Leaving them at 644 will open a hole for hackers. Chris
