reset admin password

Hello,

 

This may sound imcompetent, but I can't seem to figure out how to reset the password of my admin or website. I had a webdesigner do everything and now he has disappeard without a trace. Please help.

No, there is no 'forgotten password' for Admin. You can use the contribution that George suggested, or you cam use myphpadmin to manually delete the data in the administrators field of the database. Both will then as you to enter a new username and password.

If you're referring to your osc admin panel, George(aka npn2531) provided you with a way to do it.

If there was a feature like that, forum members would have told you to click that "forgot password" link. Apparently, there isn't.
