Guest Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Cherie, dm_categories.php is a file included in the zip you downloaded. You will need to upload that to your hosting account in the correct directory. chris
BangleAddict Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 I looked absolutely everywhere and could not locate the file. Is it possible that it could be named something else? Thanks Cherie, dm_categories.php is a file included in the zip you downloaded. You will need to upload that to your hosting account in the correct directory. chris
Guest Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Hi Cherie, If the file is missing, you should upload it to the proper directory from the downloaded package. Chris
BangleAddict Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Hi Chris, I contacted templatemonster, which is the site I purchased the template from. They were very unhelpful and stated that if I could not locate the file in the default installation zip then it was not included in the package. I guess I can not install Dynamenu with this file being MIA. Thanks for your help. Hi Cherie, If the file is missing, you should upload it to the proper directory from the downloaded package. Chris
BryceJr Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I am a complete novice to oscommerce and php. I'm trying to install the dynamenu. However, I can not locate dm_categories.php anywhere! Please help!!!! Thanks The reason you're missing a few files is that you downloaded an update or a particular additional feature that certain authors decided to share to the community. These are usually incomplete packages/download. To install an addon fore the first time, make sure it's complete (full package). Download >> "Dynamenu" for osCommerce v1.11 "Missing Images" update --- nate_02631 --- 27 May 2006 Even though it has the word "update", it's a full package/download. Also, take note of the fixes, just in case you encounter some problems. Once installed, work our way up to install specific features or updates you want.
