mhoutermans Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 I switched hosts and I just realized my new host does not make a difference between http and https directories. I did have SSL installed on my old host and thus also made use of the https directory. Now it is probably not really a problem to have one directory I just make everything secure. But the question is how do I switch my website from http and https to only https? Do I just upload the https directory and install a certificate? Do I switch of the https option in the config.php? How do I do this?
Guest Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 Michael, I think you need to find out from your host what their set up is. Then you can reconfigure the shop to operate the way it should.

Guest Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 Well, that is an interesting way to do things....... Are you sure you want to stay with that host? Running everything through HTTPS is usually much slower than HTTP.
