angelus Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 hi everyone many customers are reporting about this error (and we had it on admin too) it goes when you refresh the page but it's annoying of course: ******* Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect (http://XXX.com/shop/function.mysql-connect)]: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'sending authentication information', system error: 32 in /home/XXX/public_html/shop/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! ******* it happens when customers just surf the store or click on items.. what is that about? it started all of a sudden.. please help!!! THANK YOU :)
MrPhil Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 If you're suddenly losing your database connection, it's unlikely to be anything in osC. You'll probably have to report it to your host, so they can look and see if they've logged any server errors. You might also check that you aren't accumulating a bunch of large "core" files on your site. Tell your host immediately if you are! I would assume that you have not been hacked, if a page refresh always gets you going again.
