Guest Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Hi Folks Just wondering if anyone could answer me this one... Does the "Credit Card Expiry Date" Years automatically increase by x amount each year or do you have to add these yourself? If I remember, it currently goes up 2019. If you have to add these manually, how would I go about doing this? Many thanks David
chadcloman Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 For which payment module? Check out Chad's News.
♥geoffreywalton Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Unless you are processing the CC data allowing dates to be selected should be done by the card merchant's page. If you are processing CC data make sure you are PCI compliant otherwise you are about to enter a world of pain........ Guest Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 It's for the Standard "Credit Card" Module... Also, I am having a lot of problems trying to add new ranges into the exsisting cc_validation.php file - Can I disable these checks so it will just accept any Card Number Inserted? Many thanks David
Guest Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 David, The standard Credit card module contained in a download of OSC is clearly marked ' NOT FOR PRODUCTION USE '. If by chance you are using that CC payment method, I would discontinue using it and install another contribution that is more complete and secure. Chris
